Mariners Hotel - Haverfordwest

The breakfast at the place was plentiful with hot options served to order. The rooms themselves were airy and attractive with comfortable bed. Location: the hotel was near restaurant, the town centre, restiraunt and bar food and the beer garden.

Its rooms are spotlessly clean with excellent decor, big comfortable beds, very large full bathroom as advertised. The location is central.

Can't recommend highly enough for a short stint

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with excellent breakfast options that include a delicious full Welsh breakfast served in a spacious dining area, and the hotel's convenient location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions.

Nothing to improve on.

The hotel's age shows, with narrow corridors and steep stairs that may annoy those with mobility issues. Room 29 had a noticeable slant on the floor, and the bed was a little too soft for my taste. Window frames and bath cleanliness could use attention, and while the rustic charm is nice, it feels like the aged decor could benefit from a refresh to better utilize the historical features of the building.

We loved the spacious double room and the cozy atmosphere throughout. The on-site bar had a great selection, including real ale, a lovely surprise.

I enjoyed my time at this friendly hotel, just a short walk to Haverfordwest Castle and close to the beautiful Preseli Hills for peaceful strolls, making exploring so easy and enjoyable throughout my weekend getaway.

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and warm our room was! The cooked breakfast was delicious, and I can't get over how cozy the evening bar felt with friendly locals. I'd definitely return!

the bathroom needs better ventilation

Had a cozy stay in a lovely room with fine views! I loved lounging by the garden pond and taking leisurely walks through the grounds. The only hiccup was that the TV remote wasn't working, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 🌸

My partner and I struggled with the discomfort of our slanted room. The floor felt dangerously uneven, leading to a rather uneasy experience. The bed.

Super friendly staff!

We had a nice weekend here. The staff was super friendly and helped us a lot, especially with breakfast in the bar area. Our family room was spacious, way bigger than we thought! Just a bit noisy from the room above us, hard to fall asleep. Pretty chill spot for a short break.

The atmosphere is enchanting, with historical decor that transports you back in time. I loved waking up to a really good breakfast that included local flavors and good kippers- a culinary adventure! Plus, the cozy bar was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring, with fabulous conversations and a friendly vibe.
